Promise 1: Work designed, created and curated by humans only

At Maya Studios, we use technology as a medium to achieve goals for our clients and not as a design philosophy. Technology is a tool and we are trained to use it to work for our clients’ benefit.

Every piece of work that we create for our clients is made by humans. We don’t use AI to create designs, content or in any part of content planning or distribution. We use tools for basic spell check and for measuring and optimizing campaign performances so we can accomplish goals for our clients efficiently.

We, as a team, do all the research, come up with original ideas, and craft our pieces without help from AI. We take credit for the good (and original) work and should there be an error at our end, we take the flak too.

Promise 2: Human-powered Customer Support

If you call us on our customer support number, a human agent will take your call, not an automated voice-over. Our contact support person will hear you out, try to understand the issue at hand and help resolve it at the earliest. Should they need to forward your call to a more relevant customer support person or a higher authority, rest assured, that it will also be a person and not a machine.

Companies use AI for customer support to optimize operational efficiencies which at the moment is not our biggest concern, since we are a small team. We prefer to have a human talking at the other end of the line because we understand that our customers need empathy and a human touch. Complex problem-solving, understanding customers’ emotional states, and taking a judgment call are things only human agents can do best.

Promise 3: Transparency

From the first call to the end of our contract, all the work including campaign details, reports, presentations, etc are documented and shared with the client.

We ensure transparency with our clients by having consistent conversations with them about goals, objectives and their feedback/suggestions on the ongoing project. Our experience with a transparent style of working has always been highly positive. Regularly exchanging notes on projects and discussing our approach to the design and execution process has helped us successfully gain the trust of our clients. It has equally improved collaboration with our clients and within our teams.

The team at Maya Studios has people from across the world. We believe in diverse opinions and learning from each other. We use the same approach when working with our clients too. Our objective is to have both the client and Maya Studios involved at all stages of decision-making which can be made possible with collaboration and working with the same information and vision.

We hold ourselves accountable for timelines and deliverables to our clients. In addition, we are accountable to our teams as well and to achieve that, we ensure to take as much relevant information from the client as possible at the start of the project, so our teams can work efficiently and help the clients achieve their goals faster.

In today’s world where everything is technology-driven, right from ideation to distribution and analytics, the important question is, who is accountable to whom?

In general, businesses use a lot of their company’s revenue in subscribing to productivity-enhancing tools that are in turn used to churn out faster work for the clients, often compromising on originality, authenticity and ethics. More importantly, they do not help achieve KPIs. So can technology be held accountable if it does not deliver?  

And therefore, when we, as Maya Studios, make a promise, we are holding ourselves accountable for every tool that we use, every design or business practice that we follow, every team member we get on-board, in short, every decision we make that affects our clients directly or indirectly.

We, as a team at Maya Studios are always open to clients’ feedback. Not everything we do is perfect. Not all our processes are error-free.
